  • 2003

    Inaugural Courtnall Celebrity Classic

    Victoria has its own ‘red carpet’ moment as business, sport, and Hollywood celebrities take part in the first-ever star-studded gala and golf tournament held by the Courtnall brothers to raise much-needed funds for mental health.

  • 2005

    Opening of the Archie Courtnall Centre

    Funds raised at the 2003 and 2004 Courtnall Celebrity Classics support the opening of the Archie Courtnall Centre named after Geoff, Russ, and Bruce’s father.

  • 2011

    The Third Courtnall Celebrity Classic Sells Out

    The excitement of the Courtnall Celebrity Classic returns once again to Victoria, BC, raising $1.15 million for the Royal Jubilee Hospital’s Patient Care Centre.

  • 2014

    CAMH Honours Courtnall Brothers

    In recognition of their efforts supporting mental health, the Courtnall brothers receive a Transforming Lives Award from CAMH (Centre for Addiction and Mental Health) in Toronto.

  • 2021

    New Name, an On-going Commitment

    Courtnall Celebrity Classic Society officially transitions to the Courtnall Society for Mental Health, dedicated to raising funds year-round to provide grants to community-centric mental health organizations across Canada.

    First Three Grants Made to Community Organizations

    Three Victoria-based mental health organizations receive grants from CSMH: NEED2, Buddy Check for Jesse, and Connections Place.
