For more than 50 years, Cowichan Valley Youth Services Society has been a trusted source of support for vulnerable youth, parents, and caregivers in the Cowichan region. Since 1973, their team has created a safe and nurturing environment where young people can access the guidance, resources, and care they need to navigate life’s challenges.

Communities up Island, including the Cowichan Valley, can sometimes be underserved when it comes to accessible youth and family supports. Cowichan Valley Youth Services plays a vital role in helping bridge that gap—ensuring young people and families outside of urban centres are not left behind and have access to meaningful, community-based care.

Through their wide range of programs, the organization empowers youth to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move forward with confidence. Their long-standing commitment to the community, paired with the real and lasting impact of their work, makes them a natural fit as one of our 2025 grant recipients.
